At Over the Edge Rental, your safety, satisfaction, and adventure experience are our top priorities. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable ride for every guest, we’ve outlined a few important policies that apply to all snowmobile and ATV rentals. Please take a moment to review these guidelines before your booking—they help us maintain high standards of service, safety, and equipment quality. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help you ride with confidence!
Eligibility
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
Passengers must be at least 8 years old. If a child is riding as a passenger, the driver must be at least 25.
All participants must sign a waiver of liability before departure.
Reservations & Payment
Reservations are confirmed with a valid credit card deposit.
Full payment is due on or before the day of the rental.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a credit or partial refund. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
Security Deposit & Damage Responsibility
A security deposit is required per vehicle and must be placed on a major credit card.
Renters are financially responsible for all damages to the equipment, unless a damage waiver is purchased (if available).
The damage waiver, if offered, reduces but does not eliminate responsibility in the event of misuse or negligence.
Rental Timing & Late Returns
Rentals are typically full-day unless otherwise arranged. Pickup and return times are specified at booking.
Late returns will incur a fee, charged per 15-minute interval past the agreed return time.
Overnight rentals may be available upon request and require prior approval.
Fuel Policy
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel.
Vehicles must be returned with a full tank or a refueling fee will apply.
Use of Equipment
Equipment may only be operated on designated trails and approved areas.
Off-trail riding, racing, and reckless driving are strictly prohibited.
Use of drugs or alcohol before or during operation is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
Safety Requirements
Helmets are mandatory for all drivers and passengers. Helmets are provided with each rental.
Drivers will receive a brief orientation on vehicle operation, safety, and trail rules before departure.
Weather & Trail Conditions
Rentals proceed rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by staff.
In the event of trail closures or extreme weather, customers may be offered to reschedule or receive rental credit.
Mechanical Issues & Breakdowns
If a mechanical issue occurs during the rental that is not due to misuse, we will make every effort to provide support or a replacement.
If recovery is required due to operator error or prohibited use, a recovery fee may apply.
Refunds & Early Returns
No refunds are issued for early returns or unused time.
In the event of a breakdown or weather issue, partial credits may be issued at management’s discretion.
Liability & Insurance
Renters assume full responsibility for the safe use and return of all equipment.
Personal injury or property damage is not covered by the rental service. It is recommended that renters carry their own health and travel insurance.
